In a strategic move believed to be centered around artificial intelligence (AI), the Colorado-based American Cannabis Company is poised to merge with HyperScale Nexus Holding, a Nevada-based company specializing in Nvidia H100 GPUs for AI computing.
American Cannabis Company is recognized for its role as a consulting firm, offering guidance to streamline cannabis operations, including cultivation practices and regulatory navigation. As a publicly listed company, it concluded trading on Oct. 24 at $0.024 in over-the-counter markets. In contrast, HyperScale Nexus, established in July 2023, positions itself as a holding company with a keen interest in the AI and high-performance computing (HPC) markets. Drawing inspiration from Rackspace, it aims to deliver top-tier cloud services, managed hosting, and professional services, capitalizing on the latest Nvidia H100 GPU chipsets.
Post approval, the merger would result in American Cannabis operating as a subsidiary of HyperScale Nexus, with a proposed share exchange wherein every block of three hundred shares of American Cannabis stock would be exchanged for one share of HyperScale Nexus common stock.
Recognizing the vast potential within the cannabis industry, ranked as the sixth-largest cash crop in the US, technology has increasingly turned its focus to niche agricultural areas. Projections indicate that the US cannabis market is expected to reach a value of US$33.88 billion in 2023, with a revenue compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 14.66% between 2023 and 2028. The market is anticipated to expand further to US$67.15 billion by 2028. The integration of AI into the cannabis consumer market, while in its early stages, is already exhibiting promising growth. AI technology is being actively deployed in cannabis farming operations, utilizing drones and robots equipped with sensors connected to AI software systems for monitoring, feeding, and watering plants.
This strategic merger between American Cannabis Company and HyperScale Nexus Holding is seen as an innovative step toward leveraging AI capabilities within the cannabis industry, promising a new horizon of technology-driven cultivation practices and operational enhancements.
