AtlasEdge, a leading European Edge data center platform has announced the appointment of Tesh Durvasula as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Durvasula, was previously the CEO of Africa Data Centres, the data center arm of Liquid Technologies.
Durvasula is a digital infrastructure and data center industry veteran with over 25 years’ experience of experience across development, finance, sales and marketing, and real estate. Asides his most recent role at Africa Data Centres, where he spent a little over two years, he has served in a broad range of leadership roles, including President and CEO, CyrusOne; Chief Marketing and Business Officer for Quality Technology Services and Chief Marketing and Business Officer for Telx, At CyrusOne, Durvasula drove value for the company and its investors through a combination of rapid sales growth and mergers and acquisitions, and led the acquisitions of data center providers Sentinel and Cervalis, as well as the data center assets of the financial trading campus of CME Group, with a combined transaction value of over $1 billion. His strong record of value creation and scaling the organization, helped Cyrus grow annual revenue from $221 million in 2012 to over $1 billion in 2020. At the Quality Technology Services, Durvasula created and executed the company’s go-to-market strategy, paving the way for evolution from privately held company to equity-backed organization to IPO, and then eventually acquired by Blackstone for $10 billion in 2021.
