FMoCDE Minister announces N1b partnership with IHS

The Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy has announced a partnership of N1 Billion between the Ministry and IHS Towers, marking the inception of the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) Learning Community. The FMoCDE Minister, Bosun Tijani made this announcement on his LinkedIn today.

According to the minister, this partnership will bolster its recently launched 3MTT program, and pave the way for the establishment of learning communities across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The N1 billion funding provided by IHS Towers will ensure the sustainability of the project and cover the salaries of 37 dedicated learning community managers in each location for the next three years.

Tijani stated that the landmark collaboration is the beginning of many such partnerships and will help advance the FMoCDE objectives, particularly within the 3MTT program and, more broadly, in alignment with the Knowledge pillar outlined in its Strategic Blueprint.
