Layer3, a provider of cloud and network technology solutions, has announced its partnership with the Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN) to improve network performance in Abuja and Kano, ultimately improving residents’ access to popular streaming services especially Netflix.
In a statement, Layer3 asserts that the partnership aligns perfectly with the growing demand for high-quality streaming services and the vital need for robust Internet infrastructure and says that utilizing IXPN’s switching infrastructure and Layer3’s broadband access solutions, Netflix can now establish its cache servers in Abuja.
With this move, Netflix users will enjoy an enhanced streaming experience and access to favorite content for all internet service providers that are peered at IXPN.
