Pan African Towers moves up CFO to Acting CEO role

Pan African Towers (PAT), Nigeria’s leading provider of digital infrastructure, has announced the appointment of Oladipo Badru, the company’s Chief Financial Officer (FCA), as Acting Chief Executive Officer. This follows the resignation of Mr. Azeez Amida, the former CEO, who stepped down to pursue other professional opportunities.

In a statement dated November 15th, 2024, Board Chairman Adefolarin Ogunsanya expressed the Board’s gratitude for Mr. Amida’s leadership and contributions to the company’s growth during his tenure. “We acknowledge Mr. Amida’s significant role in the development of Pan African Towers and wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” Ogunsanya said. “Effective immediately, Mr. Oladipo Badru will assume the role of Acting Chief Executive Officer to guide the Company through this period of transition.”

Badru, who was previously the CFO at Pan African Towers, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Prior to joining PAT, he held senior finance leadership positions as Director of Finance at 9Mobile, Nigeria, and at Etisalat UAE. With a strong background in financial management and strategic leadership, Badru is well-positioned to lead the company through this transition.

The Board expressed confidence in Badru’s ability to steer PAT forward, emphasizing his deep understanding of the company’s operations and his commitment to its mission. He will work closely with the executive management team to ensure a seamless transition and continued operational excellence.
