Dan Kwach, formerly an Eastern Africa executive at Africa Data Centres, has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of STELLARIX, a pan-African data hosting and infrastructure management company headquartered in Antananarivo, Madagascar.

STELLARIX, a subsidiary of AXIAN Telecom, operates Tier III–ready data center facilities and provides colocation, cloud hosting, managed services, and multi-operator connectivity across Africa. The company positions itself as a provider of scalable, secure, and locally hosted infrastructure aligned with international standards, supporting enterprise digitization and data sovereignty initiatives on the continent.

In his new role, Mr. Kwach joins STELLARIX’s senior leadership team with a mandate to support strategic expansion and operational execution across African markets. His experience building and scaling digital infrastructure in East Africa during a period of accelerated cloud and connectivity demand is expected to strengthen the company’s growth ambitions.

The appointment reflects the increasing circulation of senior talent within Africa’s digital infrastructure sector, as regional data center operators deepen their capabilities and compete more directly with global cloud and colocation providers while tailoring services to local market realities.
