Helios Investment Partners and Fipar-Holding, a subsidiary of Morocco’s CDG Invest, have launched 3MDC, a consolidated digital-infrastructure platform they say will accelerate Morocco’s digital transformation and strengthen the country’s ambitions as a regional technology hub.

The new entity brings together three of Morocco’s most established technology companies: Maroc Datacenter (MDC), Munisys, and Medasys, integrating their capabilities across cloud services, data infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise digital solutions. The move positions 3MDC as a fully integrated hybrid-cloud provider serving both public-sector and enterprise clients in Morocco and Southern Europe.

3MDC will combine MDC’s expanding Tier III carrier-neutral data-center operations with Munisys’ longstanding expertise in on-premises cloud, cybersecurity, systems integration, and digital transformation, alongside Medasys’ complementary IT capabilities and market knowledge.

Ownership of the platform will be split among Helios IV (44 percent), Fipar-Holding (40 percent), and the founders and management teams, who will collectively hold the remaining 16 percent.

Helios co-founder and Managing Partner Babatunde Soyoye said the deal underscores the firm’s broader thesis on the continent’s technology trajectory.
“This investment builds on our conviction in Africa’s digital future and our track record of creating national champions in partnership with leading local institutions,” Soyoye said. “The combination of Maroc Datacenter, Munisys, and Medasys creates a unique Moroccan platform with the scale and expertise to enable secure, sovereign, and sustainable digital growth.”

Fipar-Holding general manager Khalid Ziane said the partnership reflects a national economic priority.
“This partnership reflects our ambition to strengthen Morocco’s technological foundations and support the emergence of a modern, resilient, and inclusive digital ecosystem,” he said. “The new platform will play a pivotal role in accelerating the country’s digital transition.”

Munisys CEO Younes Peter Amine said the consolidation will broaden the firm’s market reach and strengthen service reliability.
“Helios and Fipar’s backing will allow us to expand our cloud and cybersecurity offerings while enhancing the breadth and reliability of services our customers rely on,” he said. “Together with MDC and Medasys, we will deliver a truly end-to-end, locally hosted and secure platform for Morocco’s digital economy.”

Maroc Datacenter said the combination marks a milestone for its own development.
“Becoming part of 3MDC is an important step in MDC’s evolution, and we look forward to helping build Morocco’s leading digital infrastructure group and supporting the country’s digital transformation.”
