NITHUB at the University of Lagos will host its inaugural Innovation Fair from July 29 to 31, 2026, bringing together more than 2,000 founders, researchers, students, investors, corporate leaders and policymakers.
Themed “From Vision to Venture: Igniting Ideas, Enabling Solutions That Transform Tomorrow,” the three-day event will take place at the Jelili Adebisi Omotola Multipurpose Hall, UNILAG, Akoka.
The Fair is designed to connect university research, student-led ideas and emerging startups with capital, industry partnerships and market opportunities. It will feature more than 50 startup exhibitors, keynote addresses, panel discussions, masterclasses, live demonstrations, career sessions, a hackathon and a dedicated Deal Room for funding and partnership conversations.

Confirmed speakers include Julian Duru, Co-Founder of Flow Research; Tomi Davies, CEO of DiaGlocal Collective; Ashwin Ravichandran, Africa Director and Head of Product at BMONI; Aurelia Abena, Founder and Director of The Pitch Hub; and Dr. Abasi Ene-Obong, Founder and CEO of Syndicate Bio.
Professor Folasade Ogunsola, Vice-Chancellor of UNILAG, said the initiative reflects the university’s commitment to translating knowledge, research and talent into solutions that strengthen society and the economy.
Professor Victor Odumuyiwa, Director of NITHUB, said the Fair was created to bridge the gap between promising ideas and the capital, partnerships and institutional support required to turn them into viable ventures.
The event is supported by Flow Research, BMONI and FPG Technologies as platinum sponsors, with Africa Hyperscalers and TechnyFire serving as media partners.
